Birds Flying High...You Know How I Feel

I met a star Friday night! My wonderful hubby won me tickets to see Michael Buble and I took my friend Erica who is probably a bigger fan than I am. After 2 hours of amazing music, Michael invited everyone to get on their feet and dance. The wonderful thing about living in the mid-west, at this particular venue, we were able to go from far-away seats, down to the floor, to the stage, where I was able to take a hold of his hand as we walked by singing "That's Life" a wonderful tribute to one of his inspirations, Frank Sinatra. The show ended, and we went back to the car, and noticed the incredible traffic situation that faced us, so we decided to sit and wait it out. At this particular venue, the buses and 18 wheelers park in a fenced off area just to the south of the building. We saw a crowd of people standing outside the fence and decided to go over and see what they were doing. To make a long story short, an hour later, after standing outside in windy weather, Micheal came out and greeted us, proceeding to sign autographs. When he got to me, I didn't have anything for him to sign, and he look at me sort of funny, I explained, I really didn't want his autograph, but I wanted to let him know how much I enjoyed the show and thanked him for coming to Wichita. He said thank you and said, "Well, come here!" and he gave me a huge hug and a kiss on the cheek. I immediately felt like Marcia Brady after she was kissed by Davey Jones!! He was sweet, such a gentleman, and he smelled INCREDIBLE! If anyone knows what that smell was, please tell me! I think EVERY man should smell that great! I was a wonderful experience, one that I'll never forget, and I'm so happy to have shared it with someone who admires his music as much as I do. Thanks for going with me Erica... I'm so glad we did it!
